I have recently begun to practice French again. I took French all throughout college but, I have to admit, that my heart was never really in it. It always just seemed like another course to pass with the basic college mindset: learn it, test it, loose it.

I have decided I wanted to be able to speak it. I want to be able to have an easy conversation in French without feeling self conscious, nervous, and/or stupid. Trust me when I say, that I have felt one or all three of things multiple times in France and it was more than a little disheartening for me. However, I am determined now. My heart is in it and I love it! I will be fluent in French one day, even if that day is very, very far in the future.
