What a fun, unique, DIY wedding! I love the bright colors and candy. For food, they hired an In-N-Out truck. I think Spencer will be pushing for that to happen at our wedding too! :)

Save the Date

Spencer and I are going to order our save the dates today! After we mail them out, I will share some of our engagement pictures with you all. We set up a ladder to hold the camera and took them ourselves in our yard - we live out in the country, so more like in the back pasture. Stay tuned to see how they turned out!

Droid 2

Spencer and I each bought a Droid 2 today! So far, I totally love it. There is even an app for Blogger so I'm blogging from my phone right now! Technology is so amazing. When I was little cell phones didn't even exist and now the world is at my fingertips!

Eat. Pray. Love.

I've read the book about five times and every time I read it, I come away with inspiration and gratitude. So naturally, I've been dying to see the movie ever since I first saw that it was being made. Yesterday on the way home from Santa Clara, after visiting Spencer's family for the weekend, we hit some traffic right by a movie theater. We got off the freeway with the rule being if it wasn't playing within an hour of when we got there then we would just get back in the car. We walked up to the box office at 3:31 and the movie started at 3:30! It was perfect! We even made it in the theater in time to see some previews. :) The movie was great! I loved all the beautiful scenery and I thought Julia Roberts did a great job.

I just can't get enough of this tantalizing show on HBO! I'm usually a big reader but when I heard this series was based on a series of books, I steered clear of them because I didn't want to ruin the show. It's that good! :) Trust me.
